After screening four other candidates, I have contracted with Debra Chase, a former Maine resident who now lives in Montana, to illustrate my next children’s horse book, “Horse Tails by Horses in Harness”.
I’m very excited to get this project under way and, hopefully, published by the end of this year.
Look for more updates and sample illustrations.

Riding in the Black Hills of SD
This picture was taken of me, Patricia Gott, during a horse pack trip into the Black HIlls of South Dakota. Beautiful country, easy riding.

Riding the Snowy River area in Australia
I took this photo while I was riding in the Snowy River area of New South Wales, Australia. It ought to warm your heart, seeing as this is mid-winter here in Maine and not much horseback riding going on.
Awesome country; the Aussie’s are as genuine and personable as their reputation, and the horses were trained to perfection.
This is a headshot of my newest Arabian, Shiloh. Purchased him late last summer to be a pasture mate for my young Arabian gelding, Sani. Shiloh is a small 14.1 hands, but muscled and kind. Has been used in endurance racing and competitive rides where he did very well. He’s eleven years old. My colt is five.
Welcome to my newly re-designed web site. I hope you like the addition of a “Blog Page” and a “Shopping Cart” for your convenience.
I look forward to your comments, opinions, suggestions, and/or questions about my various books, photography, or web site. If a response is requested, I will try to post within a couple of days. Pat
